The URL www.virtualiplaw.ca was chosen upon the founding of the firm in 2011 because it began as a "virtual" intellectual property (IP) law firm, without a traditional bricks-and-mortar office.  The benefit to clients was, and continues to be, low overhead and the flexibility to work anywhere.
